The larger model in the Zing Stander range, the Zing MPS Size 2 is a multi position standing that pivots in two directions. This option means the unit is able to go from flat-to-load supine to 20 degrees prone in one motion. This means you don’t have to transfer the user in our out, or remove parts to shift from one position to the next. The Zing MPS Size 2 Stander also has the option of up to 30 degrees of independent leg abduction.
No Need for Transfer
The Zing MPS range provides a new therapeutic opportunity to stand in supine, upright and prone without having to transfer the child in and out of the stander to switch between supine or prone standing. No need to flip pads, foot plates and trays to change positions. Tool-free adjustments and/or removal of support and positioning components adds to the ease of use.
30 Degrees of Independent Leg Abduction (60 Degrees Bilaterally)
A simple knob allows the leg to abduct up to 30 degree, meaning there is no need to re-adjust foot plates or knee pads.
Unique Lift Mechanisms
The stander base unit has a prone position lockout that prevents inadvertently going past vertical. A gas spring lockout is available to prevent any inadvertent position changes. The dual control enable position changes via foot pedal or hand control.
Swing-away Tray
The multi-adjustable tray can swing in either direction whist still attached to the unit, and can be removed completely. The tray when swung and still attached is conveniently close and within reach once transfer is complete.
Remarkably Modular
With 75 support and positioning components/accessories, the Zing MPS is able to be configured for a range of complex needs. The available components allow the Stander to accommodate contractures on both sides.
