This sensitive powerchair joystick is specifically designed for people with reduced muscle strength or limited movement range. Easily controlled by finger, chin, tongue or lip, it is recommended for people with muscular or neuromuscular diseases.
This micro joystick module can be connected directly to the powerchair electronics for full control of the wheelchair functions. It’s small, proportional joystick design allows for ease of use for the wheelchair user.
Features
- Small and proportional.
- Supplied with a small ball and cup handles.
- Very sensitive due to its low operating force (ca. 8 gr) and movement (3.3 mm). There is also a new adapted version available, which only requires 5 gr of force but comes with some additional attention points towards mounting etc.
- Finger, chin, lip or tongue controlled.
- Two switched can be linked to the separate interface. Red (on/off powerchair), Yellow (powerchair mode).
- Fully adjustable to the users needs.
- Well thought out electronics (mini USB connection).
- Compatible with multiple wheelchair electronic types.
- LED light interface, green flash in case of error and orange in case of active tilt.
- Joystick operates with high sensitivity, good movement coordination and fore control is required.
